Blazing Westerns (BW)

 Blazing Westerns (BW) - Published by John Spencer & Co.

Western books and paperbacks were still very popular around the mid 1950's! kids and adults both loved the tales of the wild west and John Spencer & Co were right there in the mix along with a whole host of paperback UK companies and provided top notch cowboy stories with eye catching artwork!

The BW series ran from No. 1 (Nov 1953) right through to No. 60 (May 1967) But sadly! when into the mid 60's the wild western books popularity waned only 3 or 4 editions were produced each year (for example 1965 saw only one BW published and only 4 in 1966)
