Lariat Westerns.
Western books and paperbacks were still very popular around the mid 1950's! kids and adults both loved the tales of the wild west and John Spencer & Co were right there in the mix along with a whole host of paperback UK companies and provided top notch cowboy stories! with eye catching artwork!
The LW series ran from No. 1 (May 1954) right through to No. 77 (July 1971) But sadly! as we stepped into the mid 60's the wild western books popularity waned only 5 or 6 editions were produced each year (for example 1965 saw only 6 LW editions published and only 5 in 1966)
Anyway! here are the editions I own and will be adding more as time allows!
